My 28th Birthday!

Last year I had a girls night out for my Birthday! But this year I was looking for a relaxing time with my husband! So, we decided to find a sitter to watch our boys! Luckily we had our dear friend Candace watch our boys, while her husband watch her girls! We are truely blessed she was able to watch our boys!

Michael and I ended up going to a place in Corona, California called, Glen Ivy Hot Strings Spa! The best part is that I got in free for my Birthday! This will soon change next year, you will need to pay for a message but you will get in free!

Michael and I relaxed by the pools and headed to the hot and cold pools! Which was very nice to cool off! We then went into the mineral baths! This was very relaxing because the pool temperature was like sitting in a spa! The only problem was the smell of sulfer!

Getting our tan on!

Michael enjoying his Hurricane! Which was a very nice drink! I had 2 hurricanes and 2 margaritas! Lets just say Buzzed! We then headed over to the Sunflower Sushi! They were a bit pricey but so worth it! Very delicious lunch!

This is what we had to look at while we were tanning!

I had told Michael about Club Mud! He said "club what!" Club Mud is a Mud clay mineral mud bath! Michael was not very excited about getting in a bath full of mud that everyone else was in! But once he saw it was just muddy water and a pile of mud that you message into your skin, he was a great sport and got dirty!
The mud makes our skin soft and drain out all out impurities! We waited for our mud to dry and washed it off! Sure enough our skin was soft like a baby!

After Club Mud, we headed to the Lounge Pool! Which is the best! They have lounge floaties and you just float around the pool! It was so relaxing! It was a bit crowded but so worth laying around getting my tan on and having the water to cool me off when I needed it!

If you are looking for a place to relax, this is the place to go! Believe it or not Michael really enjoyed it! He was just as relaxed as I was! I had an amazing day with my best friend! Thanks Honey for making my day perfect!

To make the day even better after we had left Glen Ivy! We headed over to Buffalo Wild Wings! We love that place! It was very delicious, but I had wished that I was not recovery from a hangover! lol.....

But of course this did not stop us from demolishing our dinner!

I am truely blessed to have family and friends who love and support me! I look forward to this new year and hope for many more exciting adventures that it will bring!

Not the last Cut!

I have two olders sisters that I love very, very much and would do anything for them! We fight, we love, and we laugh! Most of all we are always there for each other through the tough times and the best of times!

Courtney, Jennifer and I

For those who may not know already my sister Jennifer was diagnosed at 16months with something called Alopecia Areata! If you never heard of Alopecia it, "is a type of hair loss that occurs when your immune system mistakenly attacks hair follicles, which is where hair growth begins.(webmd)" Which means, your immune system kills the hair off, like it is a virus.  My sister was very lucky that her hair started growing again when she was the age of 5!  When my sister was in middle school she started to lose patches of hair. My parents then started treatment for her by doing Steroid injections to help the hair grow back in the places she had lost hair. Her hair continued to have patches but they were getting bigger, so she then made the decision in 2006 to stop the steroid injections. A year later in August 2007, she made the decision to shave the rest of her hair off and be proud of her bald head!

June 16th, 2008, I decided to cut my hair for the first time to donate to Locks of Love! I was going to shave my head at the same time Jennifer did, but she had told me to keep it! I then decided to let my hair grow longer so I could then donate it!

I donated 10inches

3 years later, on July 2nd, 2011, I decided to donate my hair! This time I donated more hair!
Pictured here is 4 locks of hair! 13 inches

My new Look!

5 reasons why you should donate your Hair:

1. your hair will grow back,
2. you will make someone very happy
3. if you are looking for a new hair do and you have 10 -12 inches of hair that you want gone!
4. you will have shorter showers
5. your hair will be easier to take care of

When I got my hair cut for the 2nd time, there was another gal in the salon getting a trim! Her hair was as long as mine was and her jaw dropped when she noticed I was cutting my hair off! It was the best feeling ever! I knew that I was mentally ready for this hair cut and I knew that my hair will go to someone who really needs it more then I did!
She on the other hand was very attached to her hair and had told me that I am very brave!
I told her not brave just want to make someone smile!

Love and respect everything about yourself and know that you are beautiful the way God made you!

Summer Fun!

The boys have been having so much fun in their kiddie pool that we have had for about 2 years now! We finally had to say goodbye to our blue kiddie pool! It got a hole in it! But good news is that we got a new pool just in time, because they were almost sold out!

This was the last day we used our blue pool before we found out there was a hole in it! The very next day we went out and bought This very cool purple pool!

We decided to go with the purple elepant pool because the elephants trunk is like a sprinkler! The kids have so much fun with it! Ryker was a little scared at first but now loves it!
Lucas loves his new pool!

The two of them having lots of fun!

On June 25th, 2011, Lucas, Ryker and I, finally went to the Yucaipa Regional Park with our friends Candace, Natalie and Emily! We had so much fun! It is the best next thing to being able to go to the beach and not have to drive so far away! We have lived here in Yucaipa for 3 years now and have not been yet! I am so glad we finally did! Perfect for some family fun!
