Open House!

Lucas got his first homework assignment that was a family banner to hang in his class that would be displayed in class at Open House. Lucas had lots of fun decorating his banner! We were going to put a whole lot of pictures on it but he only wanted mom, dad, ryker and the dogs on it! Sometimes making things simple is best! Lucas glued everything and painted it! He was very excited about it!

I was not quite sure what to expect at Lucas' Open House for Preschool! I was looking forward to going and seeing what Lucas has been up to. When we got there we headed straight to Lucas' class! Lucas' teachers Mrs. C  and  Mrs. Kathy were in the class along with all the other parents and kids that are in Lucas' class. The class was decorated with all of the kids crafts they had worked on. It was so colorful and the tables had play-doh for the kids to play with and of course the parents too.  Yarn was criss crossed from wall to wall that had clothes pins holding everyones books that they had made.

Very cute Book! Good Job Lucas!

Ryker admiring all the art work around the classroom!

Michael and Lucas palying with the Play-doh!

Shortly after the classroom visit, we headed toward the snack room!

Yummy delicious Cookies! I think Michael is enjoying his!

Yummy homemade brownies!

After we got our snack we headed to the playground!
The Kids had so much fun!

Overall, we had a great time at Lucas' Open House not knowing what to expect! I was expecting it to be on a schedule and it wasn't! Which I was very thankful that it was not! I liked how we were allowed to spend as much time as we liked in the class and ask questions if we had any. We were not on a schedule and didn't feel rushed! That was nice! We got to meet some of the parents of Lucas' classmates! They of course were very friendly and already knew Lucas' name since he is the only boy in his class! Lucas had fun and loves school! We look forward to watching Lucas grow and learn!
